ProScapeUK – Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) set out the agreement between ProScapeUK (“we,” “us,” or “our”) and the client (“you” or “your”) for grounds maintenance services provided by ProScapeUK in Longstanton and surrounding villages in Cambridgeshire, UK.
By booking our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services Provided

  • ProScapeUK offers grounds maintenance services including, but not limited to:

    • Grass cutting and edging

    • Hedge trimming and shaping

    • Weed control

    • Pressure washing of patios, driveways, and outdoor surfaces

    • General garden clearance and tidy-ups

  • Any additional services will be agreed upon in writing before work begins.

2. Quotations and Pricing

  • All quotes are free of charge and valid for 30 days from the date issued.

  • Prices may vary depending on the size of the job, access to the property, and specific requirements.

  • Any additional work requested during the service will incur an adjusted fee, agreed upon before work continues.

3. Bookings and Cancellations

  • Bookings can be made via phone, email, or through our website contact form.

  • We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

  • Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the quoted price.

  • In the event of severe weather or unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to reschedule services for safety reasons.

4. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Accepted payment methods: cash, bank transfer, or other methods agreed in advance.

  • For regular maintenance contracts, invoices will be issued monthly and are due within 7 days.

  • Late payments may incur an additional charge of 5% per week overdue.

5. Client Responsibilities

  • The client must ensure clear and safe access to the work area.

  • Any hazards (e.g., uneven ground, pets, garden equipment) must be disclosed before work begins.

  • ProScapeUK is not responsible for damage caused by hidden items such as stones, cables, or pipes below the surface.

  • Children and pets should be kept clear of the work area during services.

6. Liability

  • ProScapeUK holds public liability insurance to cover accidental damage or injury caused by our work.

  • We are not liable for:

    • Pre-existing damage to lawns, plants, or property

    • Issues caused by poor soil, drainage, or weather conditions beyond our control

    • Damage caused by tools or equipment provided by the client.

  • Our liability is limited to the total value of the service provided.

7. Health and Safety

  • We adhere to UK health and safety regulations at all times.

  • In the event of unsafe conditions, we reserve the right to pause or reschedule work to ensure safety for our team and clients.

8. Complaints and Disputes

  • If you are dissatisfied with our services, you must notify us within 48 hours of the work being completed.

  • We will make every effort to resolve complaints fairly and quickly.

  • If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, it may be referred to a mediation service or handled under UK law.

9. Future Landscaping Services

  • At present, ProScapeUK focuses on grounds maintenance services.

  • Landscaping services will be introduced in the future and will have separate terms and conditions, which will be provided when those services become available.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK courts.
